Split Core
Split core transformers are designed for installation into existing plants where removal of busbars/cable lugs prevent installation of standard current transformers. Split Core Ct's measure a.c primary currents and produce a proportional secondary current signal. Please note that unless stated all of our meters where there is a CT variant will have a 5A requirment.
