Split Core Current Transformers are designed for installation into existing panels where removal of bus bars or cable lugs prevent installation of standard current transformers. Split Core Current Transformers break into two parts allowing the unit to wrap around the primary conductor. A Split Core Current Transformer can measure a.c primary currents and produce a proportional secondary current signal of 0-5A. Unless stated all of our panel mounted and DIN rail mounted meters require a 5A secondary input signal.

Split Core Current Transformers are available in either cable or bus bar mounting apertures and in various accuracy classes.
