The Information Centre IC 970 3 Phase Meter

The IC970 is a programmable multifunction panel meter. It incorporates the latest features and technology to ensure it is reliable, accurate and easy to install. This meter has been designed specifically to make it easy to access the information and also to make it user friendly.

You will see that it has a 20 large character four line back light display which is capable of showing electrical parameters by simply pressing a key. You programme the meter through the front keys; There is a special feature to this which is the information key, when this is pressed it will display all of the meters parameters. It is fitted with two volt free pulse output relays which allows the meter to transmit pulses to external management systems.

 The IC 970 meter can be fitted with an optional ModBus RS485, communication module, when this is fitted it can be programmed through the front of the meter to set various parameters. Both the pulse outputs and the RS 485 communication module are compatile to our range of Horizon data loggers.

 Measurement Accuracy

• The accuracy - critical components in the measurement circuitry are all high quality, stable and passive. The IC 970 conforms to meter standard BS EN 61036. However the overall accuracy of the measurement depends upon the accuacy of the external current transformers.

System Use

• Although the IC970 can be used in a stand alone situation, this meter is ideal for sub metering measurement from different locations and departments. This meter has been designed to recognise a plug in communicatio module (RS485) which makes sure it will work with the the Horizon range of data transfer systems and data loggers as well as other management systems.
