B&S Group SM424 Rack Mount Pulse Multiplier - Short Depth

The SM424 is a dedicated metering relay unit that can replicate a single pulsed input 6 times. The unit has 4 inputs and 24 outputs in total. The inputs are optically isolated and the outputs utilise solid state relay devices. (See installations and connections for wiring diagrams of how to connect to pulses). The unit has an LED array on the front panel indicating the presence of input and output pulses.

• The Unit can be configured for two modes of operation. The first is were the output LED’s flash in sympathy with the input pulse regardless if anything is connected to the output contacts and secondly were the output LED’s flash in sympathy with the input but only when current is flowing in the output circuit (default setting). The later operation displays that the output circuit is functioning correctly.
• The SM424 is powered from a 50VDC supply.
• An earth stud is provided on the rear of the unit for connection to the cubicles earthing scheme.

This version of the Pulse Multiplier is of a short depth casing type for Racks with tight or limited space available from the front of the rack to the back.
