The MSC2 Range of Split Core Current Transformers from Crompton Instruments work in conjunction with any 5A CT Operated Electricity Meters. Due to the style of these Split Core Current transformers, you can easily install them without needing to break any conductors. They also come with a shorting link for safe installation (This will need removing once installed). You can use individual MSC2 CTs for Single Phase applications, you can also use several of these current transformers for Three Phase applications. The Aperture on this model accommodates 18mm² Cable. The MSC2 is ideal for applications such as Distribution systems, Generator sets, Control Panels and Switchgear.
