Shopping at Smart Power Shop
  • You can order items displayed on this website by:-

    • using the on-line shopping facility
  • If you place an order using the on-line shopping facility, this does not mean that we will be able to fulfil your order.
  • If for any reason we are not able to fulfil your order we will contact you at the earliest possible opportunity to advise you of this. At this point you have the right to change or cancel your order. Any payments made or due will be adjusted or refunded to account for any changes or refunds as the circumstances dictate.
  • You will not receive an e-mail confirming acceptance of your order, however you will receive an e-mail showing a copy of your order details as as you have entered them. Unless we contact you regarding your order and any changes/errors or shortages etc affecting it, you may assume your order is being processed successfully.
  • Once we have checked the price and availability of the goods etc on receipt of your order, we will process your order as soon as is possible and despatch your order as per your instructions.
  • We make every effort to ensure the information, pricing and product pictures are correct at all times. However where an unfortunate error is present, we will advise you and correct this as soon as possible during the course of your custom with us.

Prices on Smart Power Shop
  • Our current prices are as displayed on the website. Prices are subject to change without prior warning.
  • We will endeavour to ensure that the prices shown on this website are correct. If for any reason the price(s) of any item(s) are incorrect at the time you place an order with us, we will contact you at the earliest possible opportunity to advise you of this. At this point you have the right to change or cancel your order. Any payments made or due will be adjusted or refunded to account for any changes or refunds as the circumstances dictate.
  • All delivery charges are included in the total amount payable which you will have the opportunity to check before confirming your order.
  • Delivery prices are quoted to the delivery address only. International prices and non UK Mainland addresses may command a surcharge. Please contact smartpowershop by email for details of international delivery charges and a custom quote if you wish.
  • All prices are displayed exclusive and inclusive of VAT, however is charged at the current rate with net and gross both shown at the checkout.
  • EU customers outside of the UK will be charged standard UK VAT at the checkout unless you contact us prior to checkout with a valid VAT Exemption reference number. Once we have your reference number in place, you can checkout goods without paying UK VAT.
  • Customers outside of the EU will not be subject to UK VAT charges at our checkout but will be responsible for paying any local taxes or duties applicable when the goods enter their country to the relevant authorities.
Title to Goods
  • Title to goods shall only pass to the customer on payment in full of the contract price and all delivery charges, but subject to herein before provided, the risk in goods shall pass to the customer on despatch thereof.
Payments to Smart Power Shop
  • You can pay for your goods by Visa or MasterCard credit/debit cards or by Delta debit cards.
  • You can also pay for your goods by Cheque. However we will wait for the cheque to clear before orders are dispatched.
  • We currently charge Credit/Debit card accounts within one working day from date of order.
  • All Credit/Debit card transactions conducted over the Internet are encrypted to minimise the risk of third party attack and misuse of the details therein.
  • If you apply for a credit account the payment terms are strictly as follows - End of Month Following Invoice.
Delivery of Goods
  • We advertise and display flat rates of delivery at the checkout which cover the vast majority of delivery scenarios and order content, however we reserve the right to contact you after you have placed an order to quote you any extra delivery charges that need to be covered prior to despatch. At any time in this extra communication you are free to continue the order by paying the extra charges or cancel your order.
  • The flat rates you are made aware of at the checkout (and on our delivery costs information page) are the most common charges applicable to your delivery address and will almost always be what you will pay. The sometimes unusal size and/or weight of your order content may necessitate our extra charges that will be specifically explained in the communication described above, however is a rarity rather than the norm.
  • Shipments to countries outside the UK mainland may attract an additional unforseen surcharge from our couriers. If this is the case we will also contact you and advise of this to see if you want to proceed with your order.
  • Areas with postcodes starting with AB, BT, IV, KW, PA, PH or ZE are classed as non UK Mainland and may attract a surcharge from our couriers.
  • Although you may enter a delivery address that differs from the cardholder address, for anti-fraud reasons we reserve the right to delivery to the cardholder address on your first order.
  • We will endeavour to deliver your goods as soon as possible and will try to meet your delivery instructions.
  • Lead times for items that are made to order may vary.
  • Delivery charges are based on the kind of delivery we use with our couriers. If an item is made to order or out of stock lead times may vary however we will still endeavour to place the same kind of delivery as ordered with our courier.
  • We will make every effort to deliver your goods within the time stated on our website but we will not be liable for any loss caused to you by late delivery.
  • If you refuse a delivery without prior consent from us you will be liable for all delivery costs plus a £10 administration fee.
  • If you do not receive your goods within the stated delivery period please contact us by telephone or e-mail and we will contact our couriers on your behalf.
  • It is your responsibility to check the condition of the goods upon delivery before signing for them. If the packaging appears damaged please state this on the delivery documentation, this will help us to make claims on your behalf from the couriers should the item prove to be beyond repair. If you sign for a 'Clean Bill of Delivery', any insurance claims against the courier for damage in transit will be void.
  • Items you order from SmartPowerShop may sometimes be sent in more than one delivery, even if you've requested that you receive them all together. For example, you may receive multiple deliveries if your order contains an oversized item that needs to be dispatched separately.
  • Regardless of the number of deliveries you receive, you will only be charged the amount that was originally quoted to you at the time you placed your order.
  • Orders placed after 4pm will not be processed until the following working day.
Cancellation and Return of Goods
  • We believe that you will be delighted with your goods, however, in the event of you feeling that it is necessary to return the goods we will keep the process as simple and professional as possible.
  • You can return your goods in their original condition to SmartPowerShop within 14 days of receipt of goods. To do this, please e-mail us or write to us. You will be responsible for the goods until they reach us, so it is our recommendation that you use a secure delivery method, which requires a signature on delivery. Please Note that if you fail to take reasonable care of the goods SmartPowerShop reserves the right to refuse return.
  • Our 14 day returns policy means that if for any reason you are unhappy with your purchase, you can return it to us in its original condition within 14 days of the date you received the item,with original packaging and we will issue a full refund for the price you paid for the item only, within 30 days of the goods arriving with us. Please note: we can only accept the return of opened items if they are faulty. You will be responsible for the original delivery to you and the return postage.
  • Certain products are made to order, and the cancellation of these products will result in a 25% restocking fee being charged.
  • You do not have to give any reason for cancellation. However, a brief explanation will help us to improve the service we offer to customers in the future.
  • If you return goods to us which are faulty or you have received by mistake or any other reason, which is deemed to be our fault, within 14 days, we will refund all payments made to us. In this instance please contact us by telephone and we will advise you how you should send the goods to us.
  • If you fail to return the goods, we will collect them, and we will charge you the direct cost of collection. If you fail to take reasonable care of the goods before they are returned to us, and this results in damage or deterioration, we will charge you for the reduction in value.
  • This cancellation policy does not affect your legal rights for example, if goods are faulty or mis described.
Faulty Goods
  • Damaged Items: if you take delivery of a SmartPowerShop package and the contents have been damaged in transit, you can return the item(s) to us within 14 days of receipt for exchange ONLY if they have not been signed for as complete or undamaged.
  • Defective Items: you have the right to return a faulty item within a reasonable period of time. Please keep all the warranty information that accompanies your item, as this will be needed should there be a fault. In the unlikely event that you have a faulty item, you may find it quicker and easier to contact the manufacturer directly so that they can rectify the problem for you.
  • Note: in the event of SmartPowershop sending you a replacement for a damaged or defective item, you must return the original item to SmartPowerShop within 14 days to allow us to resolve the issue.
  • In the event of a manufacturing fault claim you may be required to email us digital images to admin@smartpowershop.co.uk
Customer Services
  • In the first instance please email admin@smartpowershop.co.uk stating clearly the nature of your query.
  • Your query will be dealt with within 24 hours by one of the Customer Services Team.
  • If for any reason a decision cannot be made within 24 hours, we will investigate your query thoroughly and keep you updated as to its progress.
  • If we find that your query is not valid you will be contacted stating the reasons for our findings.
  • If you are still unhappy with the outcome at this stage you have the right to take your case to a suitable arbitration service.
  • By law, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase of an item within seven working days of the day after the date the item is delivered to you. This applies to all of our products except items that are subject to manufacture and have been opened. We regret that we also cannot accept cancellations of contracts for the purchase Products where the item has been unsealed.
  • Please note that you will be responsible for the costs of returning the goods to us unless we delivered the item to you in error, or if the item is faulty. If we do not receive the item back from you with the delivery slip, we may arrange for collection of the item from your location at your cost.
  • You should be aware that once we begin the delivery process you will not be able to cancel any contract you have with us for additional services carried out by us.
  • As soon as we receive notice of your cancellation of this order, we will refund the relevant part of the purchase price for that item together with the item's normal postage charge-we cannot refund any priority, express or courier component of the postage charge.   • You will be responsible if you use this website in breach of these terms of use and will reimburse us for any loss that you cause to us as a result of your misuse.
  • We make no promise that our website will be uninterrupted or entirely error free. Because of the nature of the Internet, the shopping online service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We are not responsible to you if we are unable to provide our Internet services for any reason beyond our control.
